MANDATE: As LAC Chair, she leads strategic meetings, sets clear agendas and fosters inclusive participation. She oversees project timelines, ensures strict deadline compliance and serves as the principal liaison for all event-related matters. Working in close collaboration with the GWZ President and key stakeholders, she drives engagement with government agencies, corporate sponsors and academic partners to successfully promote the 35th GWI General Assembly.

University of Zambia, School of Natural Sciences.

A distinguished scholar with 30+ years of expertise in urban geography, climate resilience and sustainable development, Prof. Nchito holds a PhD (UNZA), MSc in Geography (LSE), and MSc in Water and Environmental Management (Loughborough). Her pioneering research focuses on Urban informality & small-town development; Climate change adaptation in cities; Water, sanitation and flood resilience; Transport systems & urban tourism.
